Local Artists

I do love the summer, the sun, the outdoors, and the art.  I was out walking this afternoon and came upon some children' chalk drawing that I found just adorable.  I had to share them.

I call this one -
"Sailing the Stormy Seas"
Brian created this drawing.

I call this creation -
"Love and Flowers"
This one was a really big drawing.

I call this drawing-
"Sea Monster and the Stair Case"
Title -
"Two birds at Sea"
George created this masterpiece, so I'm going to call it - "George"

  1. Hi Suzanne,
This is great. It's nice to see the creativity of children be expressed so wonderfully through those chalk drawings.
Delighted you thought of taking those photos. You have a keen eye and so do those children :)
    Take care and happy blogging.

    1. Thanks Gary!!!
I go on path a lot in Beacon Hill Park and today was a wonderful surprise to have so much color and creativity underneath my feet. I love the sweetness of each drawing, no judgement just pure expression.
      Take care to you too!!!

    1. Agreed but they are not really gone so much as "gone" as they are left behind under layers of adulthood. That's why they call them, "Our Inner Child". :D

  3. Yes, sooooo cute!!! I agree with you Alida. I was teaching adults over the age of 40 and the some of the people had a very difficult time creating, a lot of blocks to how they wanted to express. Thanks Alida!!!
