Seagull Summer

I live in a low rise apartment park that is very close to the ocean, so we have many seagulls flying around the city.  At this time of year, the seagulls are nesting and have found a place on our rooftop to care for their babies.
I remembered these photos that were taken about 4 years ago from another home I lived in.  This particular seagull would fly onto my balcony everyday for a couple of months.  I sometimes would feed him (I think it was a male???), but he wasn't very interested in the food.

Most of the time he would just come to visit.  I would sit at the window and look at him as he was looking at me.  And occasionally I would get a picture of his cute little gestures.  I really enjoyed having this neighbor during my time in this place.  This post is to celebrate all sweet seagulls.

  2. Greetings Suzanne,
That's so nice how you interacted with that lovely seagull. Did you have a name for the seagull? And if you're like me, the call of the gulls in the morning, soothes and inspires.
In peace and kind wishes, Gary :)

    1. Hi Gary, I was thinking if I had named him, but I don't think so. Funny, in my next apartment another seagull came to my new home. I definitely had a seagull thing going on. Yes, I always love the sound in the morning. Right now, the seagulls are protecting their babies, so they are talking quite a bit in the morning. Thanks for your comment!!!
      Peace to you too!!

    1. I also found it to bit different as seagulls seem to be very nervous and fly away very quickly. Yes, I do agree these birds are very beautiful!!! :)
