Mash Potatoes Anyone!!!!

THIS DRAWING IS DEDICATED TO ALL MY FOOD BLOGGER FRIENDS!!!

In the last drawing class I taught, I had my students render kitchen utensils from forks, spoons, can openers, and potato mashers.  Some of them loved it and some thought OMG how boring, but oh well can't please everyone!!!

I do love to cook, but unlike my very talented food blogger friends I will stick to drawing the utensils instead of using them in my kitchen.  LOL!!!!

Mash Potatoes anyone????

Pipe cleaner Sculpture

I saw a photo of an artists sculpture made out of thousands of feet of black string.  My memory went back to this pipe cleaner sculpture I created for a show 2.5 years ago.  I used one thousand pipecleaners in an afternoon of installation.  I did love the experience and creating something without a plan.  

The Versatile Blogger Award

I wanted to thank Petro from The Seaman Mom blog, who nominated me for one this these awards.  Very cool!!!  It took me a few days to respond as I just realized what I needed to do when receiving this award. I have been deeply touched by all the people who have visited and have written such beautiful words that are uplifting and encouraging.  I am so grateful and thankful for such wonderful new people entering my life.
