Experimenting with Paint....... Revealing White

Painting is about experimenting, but as much as it can be fun I also find it frustrating.  Letting the idea come forth, while your mind is still holding onto a preconceived perception can be awkward and unnerving especially when it turns into a mess.  What I love is when the so called mess begins to take shape, but it does require a lot of trust and humility especially if you like to be in control of your painting.

Here is my next painting that you may or may not connect with. I'm bringing forth a new voice that is foreign and unknown, a voice that calls for new life.

What Time is it?

After stating in my last post that I enjoy drawing faces better then objects, I was sitting beside my sketching pad when I decided to finish the watch drawing.  It actually wasn't bad, so I thought I'd share the finished product.

I have to draw faces.......

I haven't post in a little while because I'm working on drawing a watch.  Okay, sooooo boring for me. The drawing has been sitting there for over a week and I keep looking at it, but I really have no inspiration to pick up the pencil and finish it.  My motto for life is "if it isn't fun then don't do it".  My big realization is that I love drawing faces, so this is what I'm going to do.  This is an older sketch, but I love it so much and am sharing it with you now.
